Account Data: Name, email address, and securely managed authentication credentials through Supabase Authentication.
Usage Data: Platform activity, generated papers, subscription information, plan history, and feature usage.
Content Data: Topics entered by you and AI-generated educational content that you choose to save to your library.
Uploaded Files: Images and PDF documents uploaded for Question Generation or Snap & Grade are processed by Google Gemini AI and are not permanently stored on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide AI-powered educational features.
To improve platform quality and performance.
To manage your account and subscription.
To prevent misuse and enforce usage limits.
To send essential service emails such as email verification and password reset.

3. Third-Party Services

GyanPath AI relies on trusted third-party providers to operate the Platform.

Supabase — Authentication and secure user sessions.
Google Gemini AI — AI-powered content generation and grading.
Razorpay — Secure payment processing for subscriptions.

Some of these providers may process or store data outside India. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable Indian law.

4. Data Retention

Your account information is retained while your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at gyanpath.ai@gmail.com.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted communication (HTTPS), secure authentication, and protected cloud infrastructure. However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's & Minors' Privacy

The Platform is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), individuals under 18 years of age are treated as children. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you may only use GyanPath AI with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for your account and any subscription.

If we discover that personal information has been collected without the required parental or guardian consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information promptly.
